How many deluxe units does a wedding need?
A 100-guest, 5-hour wedding with a bar needs 4 deluxe units under our planning method: 2 for the guest count, 1 more for the extra hours, and 1 more because alcohol is served. Swap one of them for a wheelchair-accessible unit if any guest may need it.
Above about 150 guests, a 2-stall restroom trailer often costs about the same as a row of deluxe units and handles the line better. See the wedding restroom guide.

Does a flushing porta potty need water or electricity?
A deluxe flushing porta potty needs no water line, no outlet and no generator. The flush water and sink water ride in onboard tanks, so the unit works in a pasture, a vineyard or a backyard as easily as a standard porta potty.
For events longer than one day, plan a mid-event service to refill the fresh water and empty the tank.

How much is a deluxe flushing porta potty?
Typical 2026 event quotes run about $280 to $500 per unit, depending on dates, distance from St. Charles and how many you book. Delivery and pickup are one line for the whole order.
Is the deluxe unit the same as a VIP porta potty?
People use deluxe, VIP and flushable to mean the same thing: a single unit with a flush toilet and a sink. A restroom trailer is the larger, multi-stall step up.
Does the flush use real plumbing?
The flush is a foot pump that moves clean blue water from a tank into the bowl. It looks and feels like a real toilet, but nothing connects to a sewer or septic line.
Can I put deluxe units on a winery lawn?
Deluxe units sit fine on firm, level lawn. Wineries around Augusta and Defiance often have slopes, so we check the spot and use the flattest ground close to the drive.
How far ahead should I book?
Book 3 to 6 weeks ahead for May, June, September and October Saturdays. Weekday and off-season bookings often work with a few days' notice.
